Our presentation “Clouds, toys, and enterprise. Case study: European banking group” will talk about cloud computing challenges in the enterprise environment, what can be the strongest open source option, as well as cost effective, flexible, reliable and fast execution.
We will discuss about some lessons learnt through the full lifecycle private cloud deployment of a top 3 largest financial services provider in Central and Eastern Europe. Sneak peek: The European banking Group system was operational within 2 weeks after the concept was finalized and it was designed to provide the Bank’s internal users a more flexible self-served computing services with an open source based cloud that is auto-rebalanced, auto-optimized, that can span the Bank’s multiple data centers, and engineered for reliability.
