    What will you do:

    – Provision of cloud systems
    – Data matching at collection points
    – Find problems and fix them in the system
    – Prototyping and enhancement of security system
    – Contribute ideas to enhance cybersecurity

    Your qualifications

    Required:

    – 2+ years of experience in Python
    – Understanding the principles of security and data protection, willingness to develop in this direction
    – Written English would be sufficient

    Will be a plus:

  • QA Automation Engineer

    Sardina Systems is an OpenInfra software platform company based on OpenStack and Kubernetes and is looking for QA Automation Engineer to join our team.

    What will you do:

    – Implement gating tests
    – Support test automation system
    – Develop a set of tests to be able to check deployer, fishos components for automated gating
    – Handle software build and package maintenance
    – Design and implement components in our software build and packaging automation tools, extending and replacing (where necessary) current code, to update with new functionalities
    – Contribute ideas for increasing software reliability

    Your qualifications

    Required:

    – 2+ years of experience in Python (for automation scripting)
    – Must have experience with Linux packaging
    – Experience with GitLab CI
    – Experience with Jenkins
    – Written English would be sufficient

    Will be a plus:

    – Familiarity with Koji build system
    – Familiarity with Zuul
    – Familiarity with Ansible

    Sardina Systems, an OpenInfra software platform company based on open source technologies, is looking for a Web Developer (WordPress) to join our dynamic team.

    What You Will Do:

      – Develop and maintain the company website, landing pages, and online promotions

    –  Optimize website performance and user experience

    –  Contribute innovative ideas to enhance site usability and functionality

    –  Work closely with the Marketing and Technical teams

    –  Contribute to internal processes and documentation


    Your Qualifications:

    Required:

     – 1+ years of experience in WordPress development

     – Proficiency in WordPress development

  • SysOps / Cloud System Engineer

    Sardina Systems is an OpenInfra software platform company based on OpenStack and Kubernetes and is looking for a SysOps / Cloud System Engineer to join our team.

    What will you do:

    – Understanding the technical assembly of packages
    – Developing and building packages
    – Repository management and package testing
    – Contribute ideas for making the applications better and easier to use

    Your qualifications

    Required:

    – Clear understanding of fundamentals of Linux operating systems
    – Knowledge of Python (for systems operations purposes)
    – Experience with package management/development tools for DEB or RPM
    – Experience with CI/CD tools, pipeline development
    – Experience with testing of packages
    – Experience with common developer tools – Git, IDE, etc.
    – Written English would be sufficient

    Will be a plus:

    – Experience in system administration and network administration
    – Knowledge of hypervisors (such as KVM, HyperV, and VMware)
    – Experience with cloud management platforms such as OpenStack, GCP, AWS

    Your qualifications

    Required:

    – Clear understanding of fundamentals of Linux operating systems
    – Experience in system administration and network administration
    – Experience with physical servers management HP, Supermicro, IBM
    – Experience with physical network equipment HP, Cisco, Juniper
    – Experience with software/hardware storage systems and/or FibreChannel SAN
    – Good knowledge of Linux virtualization systems

    What will you do:

    – Development of the frontend platform, extending on and replacing (where necessary) current code, to update with new functionalities
    – Contribute ideas for making the applications better and easier to use

    Your qualifications

    Required:

    – 1+ years in a front-end position
    – Knowledge of JavaScript
    – Experience with Vue.js 2/3 and its ecosystem
    – Experience with TypeScript, HTML/CSS

Sardina Systems Team is led by business executives with decades of experience in growing business in the supercomputer systems and enterprise software market, and senior engineers each packing 10+ years of experience in the development of high-performance software for large-scale facilities and operation of mission-critical systems in industries including finance, energy, defence, meteorology and automotive.

The Sardina Systems Advisory Board comprises individuals who have extensive experience building and growing business, and held senior management and leadership roles, at major system vendors, storage solution vendors.

Kenneth Tan

Executive Director

Kenneth is responsible for building Sardina Systems as a leader in automated, flexible, efficient, and scalable OpenStack and Kubernetes platform. He has 20+ years of prior experience at CloudFabriQ, BNP Paribas, OptimaNumerics.

Kenneth holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Reading, UK.

Natallia Kulazhenka

Product Manager

Natallia is responsible for Product Management at Sardina Systems, including market research and business analysis.

Before joining Sardina Systems, she spent 4 years in Project Management, from web development and search engine promotion to digital marketing.

Natallia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Belarusian State University of Economics, underscoring her multifaceted expertise.

Egine Nalbandian

Marketing Lead

Egine is responsible for Marketing at Sardina Systems, working on marketing strategies, events executions, community and social media management, collaborations.

She has 10-year portfolio of expertise in Marketing and Communications with global companies, spanning agency and client sides, in corporations and startups: Heineken, Bacardi, Bugaboo, adidas, Monki, Porsche, INDITEX, Yandex.

Egine has a bachelor’s degree in History from the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Moscow).

Yuliya Osadcheva

Partnerships and associations marketing

Yuliya fosters partnerships and associations marketing at Sardina Systems, contributing to marketing strategy development, content creation, cross-functional and co-branded projects.

She has 6 years of experience in strategic B2B partnerships and marketing. Her portfolio includes global Travel tech and Edtech companies and projects spanning NA, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.

Yuliya earned her BA in Journalism from Ural Federal University and holds an MSc in Tourism Management from Budapest Business School.

Dmitry Krasovskyi

Technical Lead

Dmitry is responsible for operations aspects of cloud deployments at Sardina Systems. He has 13+ years experience in system operations and network operations in enterprises.

Dmitry holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Ukraine.

Konstantin Larin

Cloud Operations Developer

Being a Technical Team member, Konstantin Larin is responsible for the range of cloud operations, FishOS deployment and upgrading stages. His previous 11+ years of technical experience lies in virtualisation, automatisation and server hardware optimisation processes.

Konstantin graduated from ITMO University (Russia) and got a Bachelor’s degree in IT.

John Higgins CBE

John Higgins CBE

Chairman

John joined as Chairman in July 2021. He is President of the BCS, the UK’s Chartered Institute for IT. He chairs the Global Digital Foundation, a think tank, and the advisory board of Eutopia, a European university alliance and is an advisor to the European Commission’s Intelligent Cities Challenge. He was previously the Director General of DigitalEurope, the tech industry association in Brussels.

Matthias Mueller

Non-Executive Director

Matthias represents the interests of Deepbridge Capital at Sardina. He has more than 20 years of experience in the IT sector and innovative technology engineering. Matthias is a Senior Technical Adviser at Deepbridge.
Matthias holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the Technology University in Munich, and a degree in Computer Science from Trinity College, Dublin.

Rod Evans

Advisor

Rod is an Advisor to Sardina Systems. Rod is currently EMEA Director – High Performance Computing & AI at NVIDIA. He was previously senior management roles at Intel, SGI, Rackable Systems, Copan, EMC, Amdahl and ICL.

Rod holds a BSc in Economics and Geography from Queen Mary University of London, UK.

John Parkinson

Advisor

John is an Advisor to Sardina Systems. John has 40+ years senior management and leadership experience in large scale systems, previously with SGI, Apollo, OptimaNumerics, CloudFabriQ.

John holds a PhD in Numerical Computations from the University of Leeds, UK.
